Late Nite Grindhouse Presents ‘THE CHANGELING’ on August 17 & 18 at Moolah Theatre & Lounge

Even though Summer is still here, we try to inject some chill in the air with one of the creepiest haunted house thrillers ever made. We are proud to team up with Severin Films to present the 4K restoration of The Changeling! Criminally underseen, The Changeling is a film every horror fan needs to see and what better way than to see it than on Moolah’s big screen with the best genre crowd in St. Louis.

Composer John Russell (George C. Scott) is vacationing with his family when a car accident kills his wife and daughter. Distraught with grief, Russell leaves his home in New York City for a giant, secluded house near Seattle. Soon Russell starts to feel the presence of a ghost, a boy who drowned in the bathtub there. Russell seeks the assistance of Claire Norman (Trish Van Devere), who led him to the house initially, in uncovering the secrets of the boy’s death.

Andy Triefenbach is the Editor-in-Chief and owner of DestroytheBrain.com. In addition to his role on the site, he also programs St. Louis' monthly horror & exploitation theatrical midnight program, Late Nite Grindhouse. Coming from a household of a sci-fi father and a horror/supernatural loving mother, Andy's path to loving genre film was clear. He misses VHS and his personal Saturday night 6 tape movie marathons from his youth.
