Late Nite Grindhouse Presents ‘DIAL CODE SANTA CLAUS’ on December 7 & 8 at Moolah Theatre & Lounge

We are super proud to be showing a holiday film that rarely anyone has seen but one we know that kicks ass. The film is a French film called Dial Code Santa Claus (or in it’s native tongue/original title – 36.15 Code Père Noël) that I wrote about back in 2014 here. Essentially it is Home Alone + Rambo: First Blood II + Die Hard mixed in with elements of The Shining. It was a blast to watch at home and cannot imagine what it will do on the big screen at the Moolah Theatre & Lounge when we show it for December’s Late Nite Grindhouse!

Previously only available via VHS bootlegs and a huge audience success at this year’s Fantastic Fest in Austin, Dial Code Santa Claus (aka 36.15 Code Père Noël) is an enormous discovery. Made a year before HOME ALONE, it has almost the same plot — only way more stylized and bloodier.

Thomas is a typical 1980s kid: he loves Rambo, computers, role-playing games and his dog. While mom’s away at the office on Xmas Eve, Thomas and his grandfather are left home alone — perfect timing for a disgruntled, perverted, bloodthirsty Santa Claus to raid the home down the chimney. But Hell hath no fury like a mulleted ten-year-old with an arsenal of toys!

Tickets are $7.

Our psychotronic pre-show starts around 11:30p with the film starting at Midnight.

The Moolah Theatre & Lounge serves alcohol until 1 AM! Themed drinks will be available prior and during the show! All drinks ordered in the bar can be brought into the theater.
