Late Nite Grindhouse Presents: ‘DEATH GAME’ On January 14 & 15 at Marcus Des Peres
Late Nite Grindhouse starts off 2022 with a brand-new restoration from our friends Grindhouse Releasing of the 1977 exploitation film Death Game. 2015’s Knock Knock, starring Keanu Reeves and directed by Eli Roth, is a remake of this film. Come see the original on the big screen.
Death Game stars Sondra Locke (Ratboy, and star of six Clint Eastwood films), Colleen Camp (the French Maid from Clue: The Movie), and Seymour Cassel (Rushmore, John Cassavetes‘ Faces).
We will be showing the 4K restoration of the film.
SYNOPSIS
George Manning is a well-to-do businessman, husband, and father. While his family is away on his birthday, he invites a pair of rain-soaked young women into his house to wait out an evening thunderstorm. The two girls seduce Manning and ultimately kidnap and torture him in his own home.

In addition to his role on the site, he also programs St. Louis' monthly horror & exploitation theatrical midnight program, Late Nite Grindhouse. Coming from a household of a sci-fi father and a horror/supernatural loving mother, Andy's path to loving genre film was clear. He misses VHS and his personal Saturday night 6 tape movie marathons from his youth.
