Late Nite Grindhouse Presents ‘CLASS OF 1984’ & ‘ROCK ‘N’ ROLL HIGH SCHOOL’ at Marcus Des Peres 14 Cine on August 18 & 19

Late Nite Grindhouse gets ready to go Back to Class with a the extracurricular double feature you never knew you needed. For the first half of our cinematic semester, Class of 1984 boasts a killer soundtrack, including the thematic Alice Cooper song “I Am The Future”, and another early 80’s document of punk culture. Anarchy 101 is in session.

For our final half, we pick everyone up off of the floor from the previous film and try to cheer y’all up with, essentially, “The Ramones Musical” – Rock ‘n’ Roll High School! Starring P.J. Soles, Vince Van Patten, Clint Howard, and Dey Young. This Allan Arkush directed film, from a story that Joe Dante and him came up with while working for Roger Corman, will have you leaving the theater with a smile on your face and your head boppin’.
