Alien Prequel Gets Lost

According to entertainment.ie, one of Lost’s creators, Damon Lindelof , is set to write the recently announced Alien Prequel.  The film is set to be directed by original Alien director Ridley Scott.  Recent reports have said that the film is to take place 30 years before the original Alien Film and will be filmed 3D. 

I think after those two terrible Alien Vs. Predator films, both franchises were in need of a revamp.  The new Predators sequel has had mixed reviews but I thought it was a blast.  Hopefully this new Alien prequel will remind us all why we fell in love with the franchise to begin with.
