We started off the year with Mario Bava’s seminal proto-slasher, BAY OF BLOOD, which was originally released by the notorious Hallmark Releasing Corporation and was “the second film rated V for violence”. We hit the rewind button and give you the “first film rated V for violence”, MARK OF THE DEVIL. This film is more of a retelling of WITCHFINDER GENERAL through a grimy lens, which stars the late Udo Kier and Reggie Nalder.
