ST. LOUIS: Meet the Creators Behind ‘THE DEAD PALACE’ at Their Release Party This Saturday!

Last September, we had one half of the creative force, Jim Ousley, behind the new graphic novel, The Dead Palace, on our podcast, We Need To Talk About Horror. On that bonus episode, Jim, Mike and I talked about a multitude of things but when it was recorded, they launched a Kickstarter campaign to help get the book funded and printed. I’m happy to announce that we have teamed up with these hooligans and are proud to present their “Meet ‘N’ Creep” this Saturday, October 27th at 5:30pm at The Wizard’s Wagon on the Delmar Loop!

Any backers of the Kickstarter can pick up a copy of the book at this event but even if you didn’t back it, you can reap the benefits and pick it up at the event as it will be for sale! If that wasn’t enough, St. Louis’ own Wicked Pixel Cinema (Savage Harvest, ScrapbookRatline) veterans director Eric Stanze, Actor/Director Jason Christ and Actress Jackie Kelly will be on hand as well so you can pick up a copy of their new film, In Memory Of.

If you plan on heading out for the evening (it is the Saturday before Halloween), come creep out and pregame at event (there may even be a prize for those of you best dressed).

RSVP on Facebook now!

Andy Triefenbach is the Editor-in-Chief and owner of DestroytheBrain.com. In addition to his role on the site, he also programs St. Louis' monthly horror & exploitation theatrical midnight program, Late Nite Grindhouse. Coming from a household of a sci-fi father and a horror/supernatural loving mother, Andy's path to loving genre film was clear. He misses VHS and his personal Saturday night 6 tape movie marathons from his youth.
