1981’s EVILSPEAK is most notorious for housing one of the most batshit insane finales ever put to film. It was such a “threat” that, because of the ending, the film landed on the Video Nasties list in Britain – which made it banned in the country. SEE ‘EVILSPEAK’ on the big screen for our August Late Nite Grindhouse show on Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th.

SYNOPSIS for

EVILSPEAK

Clint Howard goes all in as a nebbish military school cadet who uses an Apple II with 4K of RAM, a skull-smashing broadsword, and a horde of bloodthirsty devil pigs to exact revenge!

Horror movies about teens with supernatural powers are nothing new, but EVILSPEAK adds the juicy novelty of WARGAMES-era home computing into the mix. Add in some of the Eighties’ tastiest gore scenes and the battiest treatment of a cute puppy in cinema history, and you’ve got the kind of tasteless, utterly watchable celluloid gold they just don’t make anymore.
