Halloween Fan Film JUDITH streams for free on May 22

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a die-hard HALLOWEEN fan.  After being betrayed by the remake, I considered that the franchise has become creatively bankrupt.  Then again, it has been since Part 5 (Part 4 if you see it as what it sort of is – a remake).

I have always wanted to do a fan film on the Myers legend.  I think that fan films allow a certain bit of creative freedom that fans adore.

Some of you Halloweenies (I’m by no means labeling this as the official term of Myers/Halloween fans) might know about Kenny Caperton’s Myers House replica out in NC.  If not, now you do and if anyone wants to go on a road trip, let me know.

I have heard about this short fan film since last year on Kenny’s site and then they released the trailer:

After seeing that, it looks like the director Josh Hasty (A Mannequin in Static) took a lot of care to try to mimic the lighting and feel of the original Halloween.  Now, everyone can see if they actually pulled off a successful flick.

On May 22nd at Dusk [Editor’s Note: Not sure if this means Dusk their time or what, but I’m sure it will be online for the night], JUDITH will be streaming on http://myershousenc.com for FREE!  If you like the short, purchase it for $6 via Paypal off of the site.

Coming from a household of a sci-fi father and a horror/supernatural loving mother, Andy's path to loving genre film was clear. He misses VHS and his personal Saturday night 6 tape movie marathons from his youth.
