Check Out This Synth Tribute to TWIN PEAKS

2 days ago was David Lynch’s birthday. While 2014 was a big year for Twin Peaks fans with the release of Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery on Blu-Ray, 2016 will see the release of the miniseries continuation of Twin Peaks on Showtime. What’s that mean for 2015? With synth soundtracks becoming all the rage, a lot of indie artists are using the affordability of the low-rent style of synth (trust me, it can get expensive if you want it to) to wax nostalgic and also pay tribute to some of the innovators of the sub-genre.

Retro Promenade released the first of 3 volumes for their tribute of the infamous show.

This project was artfully organized by Lucy Black, she’s been the brains behind this operation for many months, and for that we offer her a million thank you high fives.

You can buy the album or purchase one of their two packages including a poster or a T-shirt!

Thanks Lucy! Damn fine coffee album.
