ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS Goes to the Big Screen

The popular NES game from the 90’s has been written to script and is looking to take over the silver screen. The highly crontroversial zombie game will hit the screens and will go in the direction of a horror comedy. Similar to Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead, this film will have as much laughs as it does gore while also being faithful to the video game.

Following the tale of two high school friends named Zeke and Julie who find themselves overrun by zombies in their neighborhood, Zombies Ate My Neighbors looks to go beyond the game platform. Now, since there was no true plot to the video game, this allows the writers to come up with original content that could either hurt or do well for the film. The script has been written and the film will be independently produced by John Darko. They are still looking for directors, financial backers, and distribution.  Look to see this film pick up steam soon, and be released late sometime in 2012. As long as they keep Uwe Boll away from the film, it shouldn’t be difficult to make another zombie comedy that will do well with fans.
