WARM BODIES Gets a Cast Member

Zombies with girlfriends will be the new trend now that the teeny bopper vampire flicks are coming to an end. There has been tales of romance involving zombies before (Shaun of the Dead, Fido), and even zombie teenage love stories (Boys Eats Girl). So instead of zombies destroying small towns, country sides, or over- populating cities, I guess they will focus on the human heart. One of the upcoming films to do this will be Warm Bodies. Continue reading to see who they have announced as a cast member for the film based on the book of the same name.

Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class), according to  The Hollywood Reporter, has been selected to star in  Warm Bodies, which is written and directed by Jonathan Levine (All the Boys Love Mandy Lane). The movie involves a zombie that falls for the girlfriend of one of his victims and through this romance somehow the zombie goes through a transformation that not only affects him but also affects other zombies. As of  now, the film is set for a 2012 release.  Also worth noting,  Hoult is scheduled to be in the film Jack The Giant Killer.
