PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES May Have Landed Their Director

Looks like Lionsgate has finally secured the director pick for the upcoming Seth Grahame-Smith film adaptation of  Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. According to Deadline, Fright Night Remake director Craig Gillespie will direct the upcoming period piece from the best selling novel of the same name.

Craig was named the front runner for the job once Michael White dropped out. It was possible that Grahame-Smith and his partner David Katzenberg were going to helm the duties as director but Gillespie was a more formidable choice. Lionsgate and Gillespie will start negations soon and this should get the ball rolling on the project with casting news in the near future. This film is set to be released in 2013.
