New DRACULA 3D Poster Invades Cannes Film Festival

After the MASSIVE plot summary that was dumped on us last week for Dracula 3D, the new film from Dario Argento, any bit of news regarding the film would seem unimportant or minuscule.  Well . . . this new poster/banner that was caught hanging at the Cannes Film Festival is even less exciting than you would expect.  I am still holding out and hoping that Argento has at least one good film left in him.  Yet this mundane poster isn’t very reassuring.  Now, granted, he most likely didn’t have any say in the marketing and they obviously haven’t begun shooting yet.  So, considering those two things, I can’t fault the guy too much.  A fan at the festival posted this on Twitter today. Here’s hoping that the future marketing images have more life to them.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
