New BUNRAKU Trailer is here – But does it Disappoint?
Bunraku is a film that has been on my radar ever since I first saw the initial stills. The film combines lush imagery and colors with Eastern fight choreography and while also throwing in an all-star cast (Josh Hartnett, Ron Perlman, Woody Harrelson, Demi Moore). The film screened at last year’s Toronto Film Festival but has failed to be picked up for US distribution. The Guy Moshe film will instantly remind you of Sin City on the surface. The new trailer (which you can see after the jump) is filled with cheesy one-liners … unfortunately it lacks any sight of the crazy action the film is supposed to have. Check it out and let us know what you think.
I am going to hold my breath until I see more.
