‘Lock-Out’ Featurette Has Guy Pearce Cracking Jokes and Skulls

What was originally titled MS One: Maximum Security, is now being released as Lock-Out.  Whatever the title may be, I’m just glad it got made and is being released.  In what can only be described as John McClane from Die Hard starring in a futuristic Escape From New York set in space, Lock-Out stars Guy Pearce as a smart-ass anti-hero sent on a mission to recover the daughter of the president.  Pearce looks to be having a blast in the role and my only hope is that it is just as fun for us to watch.  A new behind-the-scenes featurette has been found online that shows footage from the film inter-cut with interviews with the director and its star.  Lock-Out is set to be released on April 20, 2012.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
