DRIVE Races in with a new International Trailer

The more I see from Nicolas Winding Refn’s upcoming Ryan Gosling vehicle, the more I can’t wait to hop into the driver’s seat and race to the theater to see this one.  This new, partially NSFW, international trailer doesn’t reveal too much that we haven’t already see.  If you are like me and have see every trailer and TV spot you can get your oily hands on, then the one thing you will notice is the inclusion of a track towards the end by Kavinsky entitled “Nightcall.”  Apparently the film has a killer pop nu-wave- esque soundtrack by Kavinsky that really breathes life into the film.  Drive hits theaters on September 16, and I can’t be anymore excited. Watch the new trailer after the break.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
