A New trailer for the French thriller CARRE BLANC gives us a disturbing look at the Future

The Sitges Film Festival is set to show the French film Carre Blanc.  Previously seen earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival, the film is directed by Jean Baptiste-Leonetti.  The thriller looks to be a bizarre and darkly funny take on capitalism set in a dystopian future.  What can be seen in the new trailer, looks to be an odd mix of David Lynch-esque visuals juxtaposed with corporate business guys in suits.  Easily one of the most striking trailers I have seen in a while, you too can check it out the trailer after the break.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
