See Everything ‘TWIN PEAKS’ with ‘TWIN PEAKS: THE ENTIRE MYSTERY’ on Blu-Ray

Most Twin Peaks fans knew that something special would happen this year based off of what Laura Palmer said to Special Agent Dale Cooper on the last episode of the show. The last episode takes place in 1989, the episode aired in June 1991. Many clues and assumptions have been thrown around these past few months but EW.com just got the word that fans of the show will get the complete collection of the Twin Peaks film/tv universe with Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery when it hits Blu-Ray July 29, 2014. That’s right, the film that served as a prequel to the series, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, plus the show’s pilot episode along with the regular episodes will be in a Blu-Ray set!

As someone who literally grew up with the series, this excites me to no end. When Twin Peaks aired on April 8, 1990, I was celebrating my 9th birthday. Already, I was getting into horror and other genres but I remember, as a child, really loving a good mystery. All I knew about the show was that it was a mystery. As future episodes aired, Twin Peaks would serve as a gateway into David Lynch. I remember getting pretty obsessive over the show. I bought the soundtrack on cassette and I would sit in my room thinking about this town that inhabited some strange characters. I can’t wait to relive it all again.

Check out the trailer for the release which includes some of the 90 minutes of deleted footage from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
