‘ZOMBIELAND’ TV SHOW NOW BEING DEVELOPED FOR AMAZON INSTANT

Not wanting to be outdone by Netflix, Amazon Instant is looking to develop its own original content. Last year some rumors surfaced that the popular film Zombieland was being developed for television. Some of the leading candidates to host the show where FX and CBS.  Now after a year passing with nothing being said, it looks like Zombieland might see the light of day.  Amazon Instant looks to pick up the development of the show and wants to stream 30 minute episodes to it’s online streaming service.

The news broke from Zombieland producer Gavin Polone who cited Amazon is for sure developing the series. All the characters of the film will be back Tallahassee, Wichita, Columbus, and Little Rock. No details yet on Zombieland but the early reports stated that it will continue where the film left off with an emphasis on getting to Columbus grandparents house.

Be on the lookout for more details, cast updates and more soon, as hopefully it doesn’t take another year for something to come from this.
