See the Original Short of ‘MAMA’

Universal Pictures is releasing Mama, presented by Guillermo Del Toro, will be releasing in theaters next Friday the 18th. Did you know that it was originally a short film? The short film played at a few film festivals including the prestigious Stiges Film Festival back in 2008. Del Toro has been working with the director, Andy Muschietti, since then to adapt it into a feature length film. Before you go out to the theaters to check the film out, you can see the short that inspired Del Toro to work with Muschetti to bring the tale to a grander scale.

The feature film, Mama, will be released on January 18th, 2013 and is rated PG-13.
