A new 15 minute documentary has come out detailing the true story behind Ralph Sarchie, the subject of the upcoming film Deliver Us From Evil. As someone who was born & raised in St. Louis, where the incident that The Exorcist is based on happened, a lot of what happens in here rings close to home. Catholicism runs pretty deep in St. Louis. While I personally am not a very religious man, I can sympathize with what Ralph Sarchie does. He even says whether he was a cop or a demonologist, he just wants to help people. Whether you are interested in Deliver Us From Evil, which is based on Sarchie’s book, or not, this short is worth a watch.
Synopsis
In DELIVER US FROM EVIL, New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana), struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes.
