Check out the Red Band Trailer for RZA’s ‘THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS’

RZA has always and will be a fan of kung-fu cinema. Growing up and integrating grindhouse kung-fu films from the likes of the Shaw Brothers into his personality & music, it was inevitable that he would use his recent connections from the past decade in the film industry to create something original. When I first heard about the rumblings of this film at Fantastic Fest 2010 when he was there to celebrate Yuen Woo Ping’s career. I have been of a fan of his work, especially his work on Jim Jarmusch’s Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, so I was genuinely interested. We heard nothing about the film until last November when we published a post that he had teamed up with Eli Roth and that the film was expected in late summer 2012.

Before we get into the trailer, I want everyone to witness what took place at Fantastic Fest 2010:

I love the look of the film and seems like it is boasting with energy while not holding back any violence. I really cannot wait to see this in a theater. I really hope that RZA comes back to Austin this September with this film.
