Bizarro Disneyland Movie, ‘ESCAPE FROM TOMORROW’, Gets An Official Trailer

I have been waiting to see the film Escape From Tomorrow since since Sundance earlier this year. Since then, I figured that I would not see it along with the general public. It just seemed too subversive and too risky for any studio to take a risk on. The fact that the film was shot in a guerrilla style fashion in Disneyland – a property that is very protective of its brand – without permission, it really seemed like this would be a film I would either see years later or it would leak out. It was picked up by a new film distribution company called PDA (Producers Distribution Agency) and they plan on releasing it in theaters & VOD on October 11. The company has released an official and has previously released a poster, which you can see below, testing the waters even more to see how far they can push it until Disney pulls the plug.

From what I hear, the trailer is a bit misleading as it is more of an art film than this action packed chaotic extravaganza that is on display. The good news is that I should be seeing the film next week at Fantastic Fest so I can give you what my opinion of the film is. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
