The Apocalypse is Nigh! The Trailer for ‘[REC]4: APOCALYPSE’ is Here!

Culminating in the supposed final entry of the [REC] franchise, [REC]4: Apocalypse was at first rumored to be the “on the streets” entry of the series. However, judging from the trailer, that doesn’t look to be the case. Gone is the shot on video angle. It looks that this entry is essentially [REC] on a boat. Angela from the first [REC] is one of the stars of this entry. It’ll be interesting how it all plays out but given the fact that I think everyone was expecting this virus/infection to go loose given the ending of [REC]3: Genesis, this is a little disappointing.

It will be released on Halloween in Spain. No word on a U.S. release as of yet but maybe Fantastic Fest 2014 could be the World Premiere. If not, we might not be seeing this entry until December 2014 or even early 2015.
