BEYOND THE BLACK RAINBOW Soundtrack Finally Gets a Release Date!

It has been almost 3 years since I sat down at the Alamo Drafthouse and watched Panos Cosmatos’ Beyond the Black Rainbow. I loved it. It wasn’t for everyone but it spoke to me. I spoke to Panos after the film and I remember asking him about the soundtrack and how I could get by grubby hands on it. He then told me that the composer, Jeremy Schmidt, would be releasing it through Jagjaguwar at some point of time. Then there were rumors that Dealth Waltz would be putting out a vinyl. Today, we got the solid news. There will be a release via Jagjaguwar in the U.S. and Death Waltz will be releasing the U.K. version, much like what happened with the soundtrack for the Maniac remake. You can pre-order the US version now and it will release on September 2.

Death Waltz doesn’t have a pre-order link but it will apparently be exclusive to Europe. You can read their post HERE.
