Ryan Gosling Doesn’t Look Pretty In New ‘ONLY GOD FORGIVES’ Photo

only god forgives

As a married man, I’m comfortable enough in my sexuality to say that Ryan Gosling is a good looking man.  I can completely understand why my wife along with almost every other female on this planet finds the young actor attractive.  Thankfully, he is more than a pretty face.  Gosling’s a damn good actor as well.  Nothing proves this point more than the huge breakout he had last year with the Ides of March, Crazy Stupid Love, and Drive – my favorite film of 2011.  That is why some females may be somewhat turned off by this new photo of him.  Gosling has ditched the pretty face and looks like a sight for sore eyes in this new film from Drive and Bronson director Nicolas Winding Refn.  Only God Forgives sits extremely high for me on my most anticipated list for 2013.  Refn and Gosling’s second team-up was supposed to be released late this year but it looks like God had another plan.  And with that, I too forgive the duo for making me wait even longer for this Thai-boxing, police detective, gangster drama.  To give you a taste of the film’s ultra violence, check out the new photo below.  The image appears to have sprung up from the American Film Market.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
