If you don’t know the name Miles Fisher, you soon will. He is in the next installment of the escape from death only to have death hunt you down series Final Destination. He is also know as a person who enjoys making short films that spoof some recent classics including a musical spoof of American Psycho. Well it looks as if he has spoofed the very own film he is in and has taken a “Bayside” approach with it. Read more after the break to see the short entitled New Romance.
So, right from the start, your will see the Saved by the Bell likeness that is being used in the short, and with its Final Destination kills it works well to promote his new movie. Fisher approached Warner about the short and they were on board and even funded it. Enjoy the short and look for cameos in the short that reference some of the memorable episodes of Saved By The Bell.
Final Destination 5 hits theaters August 12
In this fifth installment, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. The new victims of Death’s plan are part of a cast led by Emma Bell (Frozen, TV’s “The Walking Dead”) and Nick D’Agosto (Fired Up!, TV’s “Heroes”). The film is being shot on location in Vancouver, Canada. The second of the “Final Destination” films to be shot in 3-D, Final Destination 5 is being directed by Steve Quale, marking his major feature film directorial debut.
