HUH? John Travolta attached to ‘Toxic Avenger’ remake??

According to reputable film development site It’s On the Grid , the Steve Pink helmed remake/reboot/retarded of Troma’s classic The Toxic Avenger has attached John Travolta as a cast member.  It’s unknown what character he could be playing, it’s highly doubtful it’d be Toxie himself.  Still, it’s a bit of left field casting, right?  Pink’s best known as a writer/producer for John Cusack films like Grosse Point Blank and High Fidelity, and most recently directed 2010′s Hot Tub Time Machine.  I can think of many worse directors to tackle the Toxic absurdity at least.
