The New ‘EVIL DEAD’ Trailer Unleashes Even More Gory Details!

How can you top the first red band trailer for Evil Dead?  If you are the studios behind the highly anticipated Fede Alvarez directed and Sam Raimi produced remake you simply just show off more of the red stuff.  I didn’t think it could be possible to top the initial red-band trailer for the film (seen HERE), but it appears I was mistaken.  Evil Dead now ranks extremely high on my most looking forward to list for 2013 and nothing you can say is going to change this.  Once again, the trailer reveals a brutal savagery that is shot in such a graphic and captivating way.  Just pause some of these scenes and soak in the composition of some of these screenshots! Simply put: this trailer is FUCKING GNARLY!  Gross, sick, twisted, and covered in the red stuff – I can’t say enough about these first two trailers they have been released thus far and my only hope is that the studios aren’t revealing too much of the juicy details.  We will have to find out when the film enters theaters on April 12.

Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival

BE WARNED THIS TRAILER IS NSFW!

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
