Want more creepy hands in a new DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK poster? You got it.

I am highly looking forward to this film just as much as the next horror fan, but I’m starting to get sick of the same imagery used over and over again to promote it.  A new poster for Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark has surfaced giving us another look at the atmospheric tone that the film seems to have.  Unfortunately it seems to be just another take on the previous posters that we have seen.  Don’t get me wrong, I am still looking forward to this film and would love to be in LA this Sunday to witness the debut of the film at the closing of the LA Film Festival.  I just wish we’d see something different from this Guillermo Del Toro produced film.  Keep reading to check out the poster.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
