The Mansion from the Set of ‘SKYFALL’ Is a Blast to Work On

James Bond may have to take some notes from fellow crime-fighter Bruce Wayne as it seems his mansion also looks to be going up in flames like the caped crusader’s did in Batman Begins.  Some new photos released by The Daily Mail show the set for the upcoming James Bond adventure Sykfall being blown sky high.  A few weeks ago the mansion seemed to be in far better shape as a photo was taken showing actor Daniel Craig exiting from it.  According to the site, the mansion  – which was built in the English village of Surrey – will be James Bond’s family estate in the film. The photographer who snapped the photos states that “gravestones bearing the names of Bond’s ancestors” were seen around the grounds of the building.  Could villain Javier Bardem be the man responsible for the blast? We will know for sure when Skyfall lights up the screen on November 9.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
