St. Louis: Find Out Where You Can Find ‘THE LORDS OF SALEM’

I’ve heard several people ask where Rob Zombie’s new film The Lords of Salem will be playing this Friday, April 19.  With smaller films such as this you can’t always count on every city picking it up for screenings.  Horror films more than any other genre are often at few and far between theaters.  Hopefully fans of horror cinema will come out anyway to support these films to prove to distributors that there is an audience for independent horror.  So where can St. Louis horror fans go to see the new film from the rocker turned director?  As of right now, The Regal St. Louis Mills Theater is the ONLY theater in St. Louis that will be showing The Lords of Salem beginning this Friday.  While it would be better if the film was getting a wider release, we can at least be happy for one theater exhibiting it.  Thank you Regal!

A Thursday night screening is planned for 10:40 pm followed by several Friday screenings at 12:20 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:30 pm, 8:00 pm, and 10:30 pm. Theater info can be found below.  I’m planning on catching a Friday night showing myself.  If you happen to read the site and see me there, make sure to say Hello!

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
