So get this…’All The Boys Love Mandy Lane’ is Getting a US release!!!??

Jonathan Levine can definitely thank the solid success of Warm Bodies because his debut film is finally getting a release in the US this summer.  RADiUS-TWC have picked up All the Boys Love Mandy Lane  from Senator Entertainment who sat on the film for a whopping seven years which was apparently part of a legal battle or something of that nature.  If you’re not aware of this movie, it earned major buzz after doing the festival circuit, beginning with the Toronto Film Festival in 2006.  The story revolves around Mandy (Amber Heard), the hot, virginal good girl that all the guys want.  They invite her out to a weekend party at a cabin and once people start dying off one by one we being to understand everyone has a secret, and some are deadly.

No release date has been given yet, but I’d bet money on RADiUS-TWC following their past trends and release the film in a theatrical and digitally simultaneously with a DVD/Blu-ray due shortly thereafter.  We’ll update you as more news develops, but for those who haven’t imported the film from literally any other country, or if you wanna catch the film in a theater, your time is coming!

Spielberg, Hill, Verhoven, Cronenberg, Landis, Carpenter, Lucas, Friedkin, and many others built my taste in youth. Then filmmakers from Italy, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and Spain crept in. Now I'm an unstoppable film fiend, and living and breathing ALL the visual mediums you can find. I'll take any excuse to talk movies or TV, so writing and podcasting are my outlets!
