Rama vs. A Wall – ‘THE RAID 2: BERANDAL’ Trailer

The Raid: Redemption (or just The Raid outside of North America) was one of the best action films I saw last year. I was super happy that it got a wide release. I saw the film on a Saturday morning with 3 other people. We all knew why we were there. We wanted a kick-ass action film. That’s what we got and I’m sure I can speak for those other attendees, we want more. The trailer is a tease but it’s a good one.

Sony Pictures Classics and Stage 6 Films have announced that they will give a US theatrical release to The Raid 2, the highly anticipated (by action fans) sequel to ’ bone-crunching Indonesian action movie The Raid: Redemption. I just really hope some more promotion is put into the sequel.

Synopsis

Picking up right where the first film ends, The Raid 2 follows Rama (Uwais) as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force.
