Mondo does it again! Two Amazing Universal Monster Posters heading our way Tomorrow!

Mondo, a t-shirt and poster company out of Austin, TX, is known for their incredible designs.  Consistently hiring some of the best up and coming artists to design their products, Mondo has made quite the name for themselves with their highly collectible posters.  It’s not out of the norm to see some of their designs fetch over $1000 in auctions on Ebay.  The company is continuing their series of Universal Monsters with two new additions that will go on sale at some point tomorrow.  The Invisible Man and The Mummy are the two newest additions to joins the ranks of such great monster posters like Dracula, The Wolfman, and The Bride of Frankenstein.  Martin Ansin and Kevin Tong are the artists responsible for these great new posters which you can see before they go on sale after the break.

As with all of Mondo’s prints, each of the posters will be limited to a specific quantity.  These posters will be for sale online at a random time on Thursday, August 11th.  Click HERE to follow the breaking news of the sale tomorrow.  You want to know the coolest part about The Mummy posters?  They went out and found someone that could write  hieroglyphics and they translated the credit block so that the symbols are 100% accurate! I know . . . they are pretty awesome.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
