John Landis + Simon Pegg = BURKE & HARE
A trailer for a movie I am eagerly awaiting to see, stuck its grimy little head out today: Burke and Hare. As you can gather from the title of this article, Burke and Hare is directed by none other than horror legend John Landis (An American Werewolf in London). The early 19th century period piece about a couple of bumbling idiots who kill to sell bodies to a medical school, stars Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis. As you would expect from Landis, the film mixes the comedy of the two actors with the horror of the subject matter. Besides the acting talents of Pegg and Serkis, the film also includes Isla Fisher, Tim Curry, Christopher Lee, Tom Wilkinson, and Stephen Merchant as well. Enjoy!
