Check out the First Footage of ‘CARRIE’ Surrounded by Her Fiery Destruction

UPDATE: The official teaser tailer has now arrived online.  Both the original ET Canada video (which is quite different from the teaser) and the official teaser have both been included below.

The staff at the New York Comic-Con have barely been able to clean up the mess left behind by the clamoring fans and footage that was first shown this weekend looks to already be making its way to the masses.  Entertainment Tonight Canada teased tonight what looks like the Carrie footage shown at this past weekend’s convention.  Granted, the majority of the footage looks like it will not be shown until next week, but this short teaser gives us an idea of the scale of Carrie’s infamous path of destruction.  Another thing that can be taken from this video is how scared Chloe Grace Moretz appears to be as it appears she is shaking while walking down the street.  This is much different compared to Sissy Spacek’s vengeful and intense bug eyes from the original film.  We will have to see what else the footage holds as it appears on Entertainment Tonight -and hopefully on the web soon after – next week.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
