The Roger Corman produced DINOCROC VS. SUPERGATOR is heading to DVD and Blu-ray

In honor of the fact that Roger Corman, the king of the “B movies,” will be in town this weekend as part of the Vincentennial events, it seems only appropriate to pass on the news of the DVD release of one of his most recent monster hits.  Dinocroc vs. Supergator premiered on Syfy last June to high ratings.  The low budget shlock-fest is lead by genre vet David Carradine, in one of his last roles, and is directed by Jay Andrews, which is known to be a pseudonym for frequent Corman collaborator Jim Wynorski (Chopping Mall, Big Bad Mamma II).  To see the recent DVD trailer and cover-art for the disc, keep reading.

The DVD and Blu-ray will be available July 12th courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
