The Anthology Horror film CHILLERAMA heads to DVD and Blu-ray Nov. 29

Bringing back the good old days of the Creepshow films and Twilight Zone The Movie, Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Adam Rifkin, and Tim Sullivan, have brought together four outrageous stories that will surely please fans of anthology horror.  Each of the four segments in the upcoming film Chillerama have a very unique and extremely comical take.  They’re not your typical ghost or camp-fire tales.  Green’s (Hatchet, Frozen) segment is a black and white tale about Hitler creating the perfect killing machine.  Lynch’s (Wrong Turn 2) segment is a spoof on 70’s zombie movies.  Rifkin (Detroit Rock City) gives us an attack of a giant sperm.  Finally, Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs) presents a hilarious spoof on Rebel Without a Cause with a gay twist.  Image Entertainment will be handling distribution of the unrated film.  No special features have yet to be announced.  Comedy and horror can sometimes fail miserably if they are not mixed well.  Yet, in the hands of these four talented and demented directors . . .  this should be a film that everyone should be looking forward to.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
