S&MAN gets DVD and Blu-Ray Release

Earlier this year, I got to watch S&Man (pronounced Sandman) through channels that are usually not popular with filmmakers.  However, since the film was 4 years old with no release date in sight, its distributor – HDNet Films – looking high and dry with no films to be released and the fact that the director, J.T. Petty, didn’t mind because there was no way to see it, I felt it was ok to view this.

What I watched was sort of a surreal experience for me.  It is a film that every fan should see – especially those that attend any horror conventions like Cinema Wasteland or Chiller.  It turned out to be one of those films that, if you allow yourself to jump in no questions asked, you will be gratified and maybe even terrified by what is happening within the film.  It is definitely one of my favorite films I have seen this year.

With the film being in limbo for four years, it has been dificult for me to recommend a film that would be so rarely seen.  Now, it has a release date!  I cannot wait to show this film around to more people.

Big thanks to HorrorSquad for giving me the headsup on this and for Fangoria grabbing this scoop.  The film will be released by our digital lovers Magnolia Home Entertainment on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 12th.

Pre-order the film below.
