‘Human Centipede 2’ DVD Release Date and Artwork

When the original The Human Centipede first launched, it was met with various reviews from “instant classic” to “worst movie ever.”  When you set the bar that vaguely across the board of course the only thing you can do is come out with a sequel.  Human Centipede 2 also known as the Full Sequence came with high expectations and the reviews were fairly similar because certain people who didn’t care for the first one wanted nothing to do with the second installment.

Personally, I’m not a fan of either but I can understand the fascination with these films in the gore driven era we live in today. Even though the film is available to watch almost anywhere online and on-demand, they have finally posted the release dates of the DVD and some very nice cover art comes along with it.

As for the movie itself, here is our review. As you can see we didn’t enjoy it to much, but of course we feel it’s our duty to be fair enough to announce when it will be hitting the stores in your neighborhood. IFC films will release the movie on February 14, 2012 (how’s that for a Valentine gift) and is set at the retail price of $24.98.  Some places are lowering the price to get a jump on the retail stores like Amazon.com which has the film listed at around $18.00. Not too much as been said on a Blu-Ray release and bonus features, but I’m sure the DVD will be full of them. If you have never seen the first film I will say watch that one before you rent or buy this one and check out the nice cover art below.
