Alarm

Format: DVD
———————————–
Talented Irish director Gerard Stembridge (Kate Hudson s About Adam) turns to classic suspense territory with Alarm. Molly (Ruth Bradley of Flyboys with James Franco) flees the big city of Dublin for the safety of the suburbs and a quieter life. But Molly soon realizes everyone else nearby is commuting to work and that her lovely neighborhood is really a ghost town during the day. Insecurity mounts when Molly s home is broken into. A new alarm system and even a handsome new boyfriend (Aidan Turner of the brilliant UK series Being Human) don t relieve Molly s anxiety as it becomes increasingly unclear whether she s genuinely a target or just genuinely disturbed.

Make-Out with Violence

Format: Blu-Ray (also available on DVD, which was previously released)
————————————————————–
MAKE-OUT with VIOLENCE is a genre-bending tale of a boy trying to
fulfill his unrequited love for a girl who has risen from the dead.
Set against the backdrop of a summer of cicadas and swimming pools,
the film blends elements of up-beat teenage melodrama with the strange
gravity of classic coming of age stories.

It tells the story of twin brothers Patrick and Carol Darling, newly
graduated from high school and struggling to come to terms with the
unexplained disappearance of their friend, the bright and beautiful
Wendy Hearst. When a drive through the countryside surrounding their
suburban community leads to the discovery of Wendy s mysteriously
animated corpse, the boys secretly transport the undead Wendy to an
empty house in hopes of somehow bringing her back to life.

As the sweltering summer pushes on, they must maintain the appearance
of normalcy for their friends and family as they search for ways to
revive the Wendy they once knew, or, failing that, to satisfy their
own quests for love amongst the living and the dead.

Extra features include Deleted and Extended Scenes, Deleted Score,
Cast & Crew commentary, The Fugitive Brain – A Behind the Scenes
history of Limerent Pictures including shorts, screen tests and
auditions, My Saturday is Now Ruined – the process of graphic
designer Ed O’Brien, Radio Spots, Performance videos by The
Non-Commissioned Officers, Essays by filmmaker Craig Zobel &

Shadowland

Format: DVD
———————————————
A taut reinvention of vampire lore, Shadowland opens in modern
day North America, where construction workers uncover an old
stone cross and what appears to be a wooden stake. They remove
the stake from the ground, allowing Laura (Caitlin McIntosh), a
a slumbering vampire, to revive and rise from the earth. Beaten
and weak, Laura is unable to speak, remember who she is, or even
the fact that she is a vampire!

As Laura attempts to make sense of the strange new world around her,
she begins to remember not only an idyllic human life in 1897 but the
handsome Lazarus (Carlos Antonio León), a mysterious lover who
may not have had her best interests in mind. Soon Julian
(Jason Contini), a world-weary vampire hunter employed by the church,
begins tracking Laura, but as he closes in for the kill he learns
that things are not what they seem.

An ambitious, award-winning indie feature, Shadowland relies on
character, tension, and a series of reveals to tell the tragic story
of an anti-heroine.
