[GEEK OUT!] TV Station broadcasts about a Zombie Epidemic

Look, we all want it to happen….sort of. If it happened for a day and got under control pretty quickly, then I think everyone would be happy, except for those who fall victim. With the popularity of The Walking Dead, zombies have the highest visibility in the genre of monsters. An awesome person hacked into the Emergency Alert System and announced on Montana’s KRTV and the CW that there was an emergency in several Montana counties. Granted, I’m sure this person, if caught, will face some penalties but how awesome would it have been to have this pop up on the TV. Especially given what program it was aired on. Luckily, someone uploaded the video for all to see. Obviously, the speaker doesn’t have that distinct monotone voice you might be familiar with when hearing other Emergency Broadcast System alerts.

The Great Falls Tribune reports the hoax alert generated at least four calls to police to see if it was true.
