Geek Out: I Scream and You Scream For Stoyn’s Ice-Screams

Stoyn has a series of new tasty treats that will nourish horror fans’ appetites while appealing to their love of the genre as well.  What’s not to love about that? Hopefully hitting stores for the Halloween season, Stoyn will soon be releasing some ice-cream treats based around our favorite horror icons of the 80′s.  Chucky, Jason Vorhees, Freddy Krueger, Pinhead, and the Predator will all be making their edible debut.  Because lets be honest . . . who hasn’t dreamed of getting inside the head of one of these popular maniacs?  Some of the original flavors (and when I say original, that’s more or less an understatement) that can be savored will be Mint Blue Curacao (Pinhead), Celery melon (Predator), Apple Carrot Puree (Chucky), Tomato Hot Pepper (Freddy), and Cheese Cake (Jason).  The only way these crazed killers will be making you scream in this form is if you happen to get a brain freeze.  And so with that, Destroy the Brain would like to advise you to eat these frightening frozen treats slowly.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. The battle between these two worlds has finally ceased with his current position as Managing Editor for DestroyTheBrain.com. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
