Like it or not, they have made another one.  The Resident Evil series has defied critics and even some fans’ opinions and transformed into a successful franchise centered around the beautiful ass-kicking star Milla Jovovich.  The 2010 entry, Resident Evil: Afterlife was the first in the series to show Alice and her team attempt to contain the T-Virus in 3D.  Utilizing the technology paid off as the film went on to gross just over $296 million worldwide on a $60 million budget.  Re5ident Evil: Retribution, the fifth entry in the series, has the series star teaming up once again with her husband and frequent director of the series, Paul W.S. Anderson.  Though the official teaser isn’t scheduled to be released until tomorrow, you can find a video of it from G4′s Attack of the Show below right now!  Catch a glimpse of it while you can.  A new logo for the film can also be seen below.  The film enters theaters on Sept. 14, 2012.

Somewhere between growing up on a steady diet of Saturday morning trips to the local comic-book shop, collecting an unhealthy amount of action figures, and frequent viewings of Ray Harryhausen and Hammer Horror films, came forth a nerdy boy that was torn between journalism and the arts. In high school, Michael found himself writing a movie column for the school newspaper. Yet, he went on to get a BFA in Studio Art at Webster University. The battle between these two worlds has finally ceased with his current position as Managing Editor for DestroyTheBrain.com. When not writing about films, you can still find him discussing classic horror, collecting action figures, and reading Batman. Clearly, not much has changed.
